Notification Settings

Control your notifications so you stay informed without being overwhelmed.

Notification Preferences

1. Go to account settings
2. Click Notifications
3. You'll see options for each notification type

By Notification Type

Toggle these on or off:

Plans

• New plans created on your calendars
• Plan details changed
• Plan canceled

RSVPs

• Someone responded to a plan you're hosting
• Reminders before plans start

Messages

• Someone replied in chat
• You were mentioned
• Direct messages

Calendars

• Invite to join a calendar
• Member joined your calendar

Notification Timing

Immediate: Get notified right away (default) Digest: Get one email per day with all updates Off: Don't notify for this type

Choose immediate for important updates, digest to reduce interruptions.

Quiet Hours

Set times when you don't want notifications:

1. Click Quiet Hours
2. Set start and end times
3. Choose which days apply
4. Save

Notifications won't bother you during quiet hours, but you'll see them when you return.

Device Preferences

Notifications can go to:

• Browser: If you have Leaf open in a tab
• Phone: Leaf mobile app
• Email: For important updates
• SMS: Text messages (if enabled)

Choose your preferred channels.

Fine-Tune by Calendar

Need different settings for different calendars?

1. Go to a calendar
2. Click settings
3. Customize notifications just for this calendar

Example: Get immediate alerts for work calendar, digest emails for hobby calendar.
